Even a little holiday cheer couldn’t stop CBS from taking another Friday night. Despite festive programming from its competitors, the Eye network was once again a winner in both categories.

• Ghost Whisperer (9.7 million, 2.4/8 in 18-49) had the night’s best demos.
• How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2.1/7) averaged 6.2 million.
• Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (1.4/4) saw 5.5 million tune in.
• NBC‘s Greatest Holiday Moments special (1.0/3) entertained 4.4 million.
• CW‘s airing of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (0.6/2) attracted 1.9 million.
